K Harris Art

I'm a Cincinnati, Ohio based artist who specializes in colored pencil illustrations. The majority of my work consists of pop culture portraits including actors, musicians, comedians and important figures both current and from history. I am very drawn to people who make me laugh and unique characters they have played. Being an audio engineer and musician myself, I also tend to lean towards musically inspired pieces of work.

I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2011 with a BFA in Fine Arts and a focus on drawing and printmaking. While I have worked with numerous mediums throughout my artistic journey, I've found colored pencils to be my medium of choice. I began this series of portraits in April, 2020 in the depths of COVID and have been adding to it ever since.
